SECTIONS:           (All players play all scheduled rounds. There are no eliminations.)
 Championship:   Grades 12 and below (rated 1200 and over)  (Game/45)   USCF RATED (4 rounds)
 Reserve:              Grades 12 and below (rated under 1200)       (Game/40)   USCF RATED (4 rounds)
 Elementary:         Grades 6 and below   (Game/40)   USCF RATED (4 rounds)
 Primary:               Grades 3 and below   (Game/30)   USCF RATED (4 rounds)
 2-5 Novice:           Grades 2-5 (unrated or under 300, who have not finished in top 5 twice in this section) (4 rounds)
 K-1:                        Kindergarten and 1st Grade only (unrated; rated players may participate) (4 rounds)
ROUND TIMES (some rounds may start sooner)
Over 1500 Championship Reserve/Elementary/Primary K-1 and 2-5 Novice
AM: 10:00, PM: 12:15, 2:30 AM: 10:00, 11:45; PM: 1:30, 3:15 AM: 10:00, 11:45; PM: 1:30, 3:00 10:00 AM, then as announced
AWARDS CEREMONY:   K-1 and 2-5 Novice:   2:30pm   All other Sections: 4:45 PM
PRIZES: Trophies to top 5 (minimum score of 2) plus all players scoring 3 points or more in each section.
Trophies to the Top Kindergartner, the top 3 unrated in Primary and Elementary, and the top 3 unrated or under 700 in Reserve.
Trophies to top 3 school teams in each section   (minimum 2 players for a team; top 4 scores counted per team)
Medals to players scoring 2.5 points in each section. Additional medals to K-1 participants.

All participants under 16 must have an adult supervisor during the tournament.
The NSCF does not provide supervision when a child has finished a scheduled game.

EARLY FEE:   ___$35 for mail entries postmarked by Monday prior to tournament (do not mail after Monday);
                       ___$25 for a mail entry if you have already entered a sibling in this tournament at the $35 price;
                       ___$35 for online entries at www.nscfchess.org no later than 9pm Thursday (a sibling rebate is available);
ON-SITE FEE: ___$45   Registration is from 9:00-9:40am. Pre-registrants, please arrive by 9:30am to confirm.
All registration at the tournament must be completed by 9:40am sharp! If you have not registered by then,
you will be given a 1/2 point bye for the first round, or hand paired at TDs discretion.

A current US Chess Federation membership is required for all players in rated sections.
