Chess Instructor
Silvio is a chess enthusiast who indulges his passion by teaching, directing and playing chess.
He's been an NSCF Instructor since 1999.
As an instructor in the classroom and as a private
tutor, Silvio tailors lessons to the learning
needs of the student, and teaches with a
combination of instruction and fun.
As an NSCF tournament director, Silvio has directed tournaments held in Westchester
and Southern Connecticut, including the 2006 New York State Championships.
He also enjoys directing the very young players in the K/1 section.
Silvio is currently an active member of the Bob Peretz Chess Club and the Westchester Chess Club.
