Furqan Tanwir ("Khan") is a rapidly improving chess player who has reached the level of USCF Expert.
He is available for a game of chess, anytime, anywhere.
An avid student of the game, Khan is determined to earn his
USCF Master title within the next few years. Indeed, his recent tournament successes indicate
that this goal is well within his reach.
He has already defeated several masters at
the Marshall Chess Club and the
White Plains Chess Club.
Khan is very successful at imparting his love of chess to children. A naturally gifted teacher of the young,
his classes are unorthodox, exciting and full of fun.
