The little light that could.
The lights went out at the Brunswick School tournament on Sunday, February 25,
but thanks to an enterprising parent,
the players did not have to contemplate the prospect of searching for brilliancies in the dark.
James Yacobucci went out to purchase 25 tabletop lights like this one - and the tournament went on. Other parents chipped in to bring in free food.
Tournament director Felix Lopez contributed his own special gambit, running the computer printer from a van.
The lights were donated to the school, so its students will always be on the bright path to knowledge.
